== NAME ==
src - simplest revision control

== SYNOPSIS ==
*src* [command]

== DESCRIPTION ==
SRC (or src) is simplest revision control, a version-control system for
single-file projects by solo developers and authors. It modernizes the
venerable RCS, hence the anagrammatic acronym.

SRC revision histories are single, human-readable files beneath a hidden .src
subdirectory in the directory where they live. There may be multiple
histories under one directory; SRC treats them as separate projects,
and history files can be moved elsewhere at any time.

SRC gives you simple, consecutive integer revision numbers. It
supports tags and branching. It does not show committer information,
because the committer is always you.

== COMMAND SUMMARY ==

A revision spec is a 1-origin integer N, or a range literal M..N.

src init::
 Creates a .src directory if none already exists

src add [files...]
 Initialize new project histories for specified files.

src commit [files...]
 Enters a commit for specified files. Separately to each one.

src log [revision-spec] [files...]
 Sends log information about the specified files to standard output.

src diff [revision-spec] [file...]
 Sends a diff listing to standard output

src fast-export [file...]
 Export one or more project files as a git fast-import stream.

If there is only one project in the directory the file argument need
not be specified.

== IMPLEMENTATION NOTE ==
SRC presently uses RCS for back-end storage. This may change in the future.

== REPORTING BUGS ==
Report bugs to Eric S. Raymond <esr@thyrsus.com>. The project page is
at http://catb.org/~esr/src
